Quebec is the largest Canadian province by area and has the second-largest population. Quebec contains 24% of Canadian residents.

The official language of Quebec is French, it is the only Canadian province where English is a minority language and does not have the status of an official language and along with New Brunswick is one of two provinces that have French as a full official language in full at the provincial level.

The province lies in the east of Canada between the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Hudson Bay and the Labrador Peninsula.
